The California Association for Institutional Research (CAIR) is dedicated to the fostering of unity and cooperation among persons having interests and activities related to institutional research and/or planning in California institutions of postsecondary education. CAIR provides a forum for the dissemination of information and interchange of ideas on problems of common interest in the field of institutional research.
In addition, CAIR promotes the continued professional development of individuals engaging in institutional research and fosters the unity and cooperation among persons having interests and activities related to research.

Partnering with Elsevier, this year’s conference theme is Honoring Our Roots, Growing For Our Future.
The theme will focus on:
Honoring CAIR’s Legacy: Recognizing 50+ years of service to the institutional research community in California.
Uplifting CAIR’s Purpose: Reinforcing that we work for institutional research–actively shaping the field in California.
Defining CAIR’s Future: Strengthening the impact of institutional research within the state’s diverse educational landscape.

Call for Nominations

The CAIR Board is requesting nominations for three positions – one vice president and two directors – which will assume their role starting January 1, 2025.
