TS EXPORT® FOUNDER
I'm John. I first came to Japan in 1991. I founded the TS EXPORT® service because while Japan had a lot of great product, importers simply couldn't import it without someone here on the ground to help locate the stock, communicate with suppliers and have the stock shipped.
When I first came to Japan I was blown away by the fantastic cars. One of my favourite places in Japan is still the carparks. The biggest reward of this job is satisfied clients.
COMPANY PRESIDENT
I'm Etsuko. The company was started by my father in 1983 and I took over as Company President in 1999.
I majored in English at university and have spent time in the US and Australia. I love travel and cooking.
In the company I look after compliance, finance, logistics and staffing.
TS EXPORT® TEAM
The TS EXPORT® service grew from a family owned business founded in 1983.The business is headquartered in Japan and has core team members in Kobe and Himeji and containerisation operations in Himeji, Kobe, Osaka, Nagoya and Yokohama. The Japan based team has skills in Vehicle Sourcing, Purchasing, Logistics, Export Documentation, Dismantling, Container Loading and International Shipping. The Information Technology team is based in North America, South America, Australia, Ukraine, Russia and the Philippines.
This means you always have the full range of skills on hand to help you safely and profitably import from Japan.
Support by Skype chat is available from a native English speaker 7 days per week. Our Workshop Teams and Container Teams work up to 3 shifts per day 7 days per week.
Founders of the TS EXPORT® service are university graduates with exporting experience spanning 3 decades. The Company President was born in Japan. The native English speaking General Manager has been in Japan since 1991.

TS EXPORT® TRAINING
Training is ongoing and integrated into daily work as part of the TS EXPORT® "Better & Better" kaizen philosophy:- Online Training Videos and tutorials which are regularly updated.
- Standard Operating Procedures to ensure that worktasks are done thoroughly and consistently.
- Hands On Training in small groups to ensure best practice.
