This gives you an independent appraisal of the condition of the vehicles you're interested in before you decide whether or not to go ahead with the purchase. The inspections are done by specialist inspection companies independent of the seller and the exporter.

Since the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Disaster all used vehicles exported from Japan by Roll-On Roll-Off Carrier are subject to compulsory radiation inspections. We organise this automatically for you. Some of the Wholesale Vehicle Auctions also check vehicles for radioctivity before being admitted to the auction and are only accepted if under 0.9 µSv. We can organise independent radiation inspections for any vehicles that have not already been inspected.
