So, i’m not really sure what i’m supposed to put here… i’m thinking that if you’re reading my blog, you already know a lot about me… if not, then you’ll learn! I am originally from south Georgia but moved up to the Atlanta area a few years ago to pursue my passion. I spend my days trying to do this thing called life with integrity and purpose. I stumble, I fall, sometimes I get stuck, but I’m always chasing my Savior – even with banged up knees and scars knowing that He is SO worth my all. I found you through To Know Him’s blog…don’t know her, either, but she posted on a friend of mine’s blog. Does all that make sense? 🙂
Anyway…when I saw your blog name on her blogroll, I just HAD to visit you! My daughter’s name is Shae, and it’s spelled just like yours is! Obviously, your mom and I share great taste in names! 🙂

Hey! I have no idea what a “blog” is. Guess I’m telling my age, huh? Anyway, I thought I’d drop you a few lines since it’s the night before your trip to Romania. I know that you’ll be fine because God will be there with you. He has sent you all there; however, it’s a dad thing to worry about his daughter, especially when she’s going to be so far away. I get the chance to see Shae everyday. She has this driven nose to the grindstone purpose in every step she takes around the office. Always serving in silence. To see her is to see the Lord Jesus at work. Knowing that his time was short and that every passing moment was only his to let everyone around know that we serve a God that is madly in love with his creation. Shae possess that same quality. In her quietness you can hear volumes of love pouring straight out from the throne of grace. Now to see her with friends is something totally different. That is to see the community that the Godhead share. There is such care in her eye for every word that is exchanged, and the eyes of her friends are engulfed in love. Now I know what you are thinking (stalker) right? Yes, I am stalking my Lord and Savior in every detail that surrounds me. I am so happy to see his precious face smiling at me through the face of Shae.
