Yes,
There’s time.
No there’s naught
But a rhyme suite,
Petite Mort of love’s
Dove sitting on a sill
Still as a held breath in mime
Of a clock that stopped to dong
A song of peace where joy can’t be found,
Just the sounds of forever… instead.

Overdue
8 01 2009Leaves
Take life,
Acorns seed
New trees to last
Many lifetimes,
While we scurry about
Forsaking their silent dreams,
Sweeping away leaf and grasses
Cutting down forests and shooting hawks,
What grand gods we are to make others pay.

Lahar
8 01 2009When you fell, I fell with you,
Head long into feelings and desires.
Volcanic meeting of chocolate and dew,
Lava of hearts and rivers of spice
Taking us where love may conspire
And by it’s ways became enticed.
One touch beget the rest,
Believing fate guided our stars,
They too shone the brighter at our behest
Though we outshone them,
Creating river eddy, just ours,
Twinkling with afterglow like gems.
When you fell, I fell with you,
With one touch begot the rest.

Miracle
6 12 2008You are the will o’ wisp of turning time
Here in my mind.
You cause the moon to glow, the sun to shine
Now in these thoughts.
You ought to know, the way love has grown
Here in two hearts.
We’ve become more, we’ve become truly one,
God divined.
Angels wings have lifted beyond what’s true,
His hands have carried and molded we two.

Thankful for Dreams
30 11 2008It is the dream that makes thankful our soul
For golden moments of burning thoughts told
Meaning nothing other than to extol
For sun filled days that come to let unfold
New beginnings, new life, new dreams, new themes,
All within our minds, becomes whats beheld.
New moon signals times we must have new schemes
Undertake the path that lets our walk weave
A tapestry of landscapes by fleme…
Perchance we’ll change from blue to green, like leaves
On the branches, across our paths stroll,
Hearthrug of comfort and luck, we believe
It is the dream that makes thankful our soul
Meaning nothing other than to extol.

Found Dreams
20 11 2008Thought I saw you raking brown leaves
Then looking away I found dreams
Walking alone with memories
Thought I saw you kicking brown leaves
Speaking echos only to receive
Messages of loves extremes
Thought I saw you raking brown leaves
Then looking away I found dreams
Once upon tapestry we weaved
Though I saw you raking brown leaves
Together we came to believe
Love was green and life our scheme
Thought I saw you raking brown leaves
Then looking away I found dreams

Rain Down
15 11 2008From the stratus comes a mizzle
Lightly dropped and gently felt
Soon the nimbus comes to schemozzle
From mere stratus comes a mizzle
Sometimes it just hangs in puzzle
Dark and low beneath skies belt
From the stratus comes a mizzle
Lightly dropped and gently felt
Cumulonimbus soon sizzle
From dark stratus comes a mizzle
No lovely cirrus to dazzle
Befogged by stormclouds that pelt
From the stratus comes a mizzle
Lightly dropped and gently felt

Cloudy Smile
11 11 2008It seems the clouds are laughing at the rain
Singing that the sun shall return once more
Just wait until we pass by this sky lane
It seems the could are laughing at the rain
Letting sun show its face through cloudy planes
Never resting even when storms pour
It seems blue clouds are laughing at the rain
Blue skies look down upon the clouds in pain
Wishing they would open up pearly doors
It seems gray clouds are laughing at the rain
Singing that bright sun shall return once more.

Clouds Pass
10 11 2008
Changing form and color as they may
In the hurry of a day clouds pass
Arranged like painters strokes some say
Changing form and color as they may
Across all Gods harbors and each bay
Floating ships of water on blue glass
Changing form and color as they may
In the hurry of a day clouds pass
There above are angels wings pale gray
Changing form and color as they may
In the hurry of a day clouds pass
In turtle dove white or pink at play
With the light of sun, moons lovely lass
Changing form and color as they may
In the hurry of a day clouds pass

Ink Stains
2 11 2008Where is the pen that wrests from me my heart?
So comes this fear that takes away all hopes,
Takes the lines, the muse, I just mope.
There is the pen in the trash, no more art
To adorn my hands, no more pot
To clean the ink stains of life, to help cope,
Merely muddy waters make thoughts all taupe,
Rivers of tears can’t wash away the hurt.
Splattered across a mauve’d sky, apart
From all clouds and dust are wishes motes
That tarnish dead dreams and many more, such
As fate or destinies chaos, and ports
Where ancient ships sail through memories cove
Painting the seas by their blacken’d touch.
