The MIXX Awards Europe are designed to recognise and celebrate excellence in digital advertising across various formats and platforms. The acronym "MIXX" stands for "Marketing and Interactive Excellence." These awards honour campaigns that demonstrate outstanding creativity, innovation, and effectiveness in the digital advertising landscape.
Now in its 14th year, The MIXX Awards Europe remains the benchmark for excellence across the continent, showcasing campaigns that combine imagination with effectiveness across all channels, formats, and platforms. Under this year’s theme, Future Proof Creativity, we’re spotlighting the ideas and strategies that are built to last. The MIXX Awards Europe is now accepting entries from talented and hard-working teams that have created some of the best digital campaigns in Europe.
The awards offer a unique opportunity to gain pan-European exposure in front of industry leaders and to be celebrated by the industry through 2024 and beyond. Entries will be reviewed by a jury of experts from across the digital advertising industry who dedicate hours of their time to reviewing and discussing all entries. Winners of the awards are renowned in the industry for having delivered some of the most impactful and innovative work that Europe has ever seen!

Hosted by IAB Europe, the winners will be announced at a virtual ceremony on Thursday 18th July that will be live-streamed to ensure that anyone from across Europe can participate. Winners will also be invited to participate in a series of IAB Europe webinars and podcasts on 2024 creativity in digital advertising.
Promoted across IAB Europe’s network of National IABs and corporate members, it will be a great opportunity to promote and celebrate the very best of our industry by doing a deep dive analysis into the strategy, creativity, and results of the 2024 winners.
More About The MIXX Awards Europe
The MIXX Awards Europe recognise and celebrate the best digital advertising campaigns in Europe. Winning entries will be showcased to educate the marketplace about what works and why within digital marketing, as well as inspire the industry by highlighting innovations and future trends.
All European campaigns that have been entered into another IAB MIXX Awards national competition (or other national competition if there is no national IAB MIXX Awards competition) or international award competition from 2023 to present can be entered.
Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards are available for each category. Gold award winners will be entered into the MIXX Grand Prix award representing the pinnacle of achievement in European digital marketing this year.
The early bird deadline to enter is 20th May 2024. The final deadline for entries is 7th June 2024.

With 28 categories grouped under five themes: Tech & Innovation Excellence, Content & Social Storytelling, Strategic Impact & Purpose, Media & Channel Innovation, and Culture, Communities & Immersion - there’s a spotlight for every forward-thinking campaign. How much does it cost to enter the awards?
Early bird fee (by Thursday 7th August 2025):
- €330 (excl. VAT) per campaign in one category
- €200 (excl. VAT) per campaign for each additional category
Regular fee (8th August – 24th September 2025):
- €450 (excl. VAT) per campaign in one category
- €300 (excl. VAT) per campaign for each additional category
Entrants from small European markets (with total digital ad spend < €0.6bn, per AdEx Benchmark 2024) can access the early bird fee throughout the competition. These markets include: Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia.
Please note: Entries from Russia and Belarus are not currently accepted due to IAB Europe’s suspended cooperation with these regions.
What are the key deadlines?

Who can enter?
Any European campaign that was entered into a national or international award competition between 2024 to present can be entered.
What are this year’s core themes and categories?
The 2025 MIXX Awards feature 28 categories under these 6 themes:

- Content & Social Storytelling – e.g. influencer collaborations, branded content

How do I enter?
Entries will need to be submitted online via the Eventora platform:

We encourage you to submit your campaign in multiple categories* to increase its visibility and showcase its strengths across different areas. All category selections must be made within the same entry process. Each additional category is charged at a reduced rate of €200 (early bird) or €300 (regular) entry fee. Submissions made separately will be charged as full individual entries.
*Please note that the platform does not allow separate summaries, objectives, or results for each additional category you want to enter your campaign in. Therefore, if you are planning to enter one campaign across multiple categories, please ensure the entry details have been written so it is relevant to all of the selected categories.
Can I enter more than one category?
Yes, you can enter each campaign into multiple categories. There is a discounted fee for each additional category (see entry fees under question 1). If you would like to enter the same project into multiple categories, please use the same details and materials for each category. If you wish to tailor the details according to each category, then please submit these as a separate entry.
What information do I need to provide?
The entry form asks for a campaign summary as well as details of:
- The objectives and strategy
- The creative
- The campaign results
Do I get a discount for multiple entries?
Yes, entering the same campaign into multiple categories. Discounts do not apply for submitting different campaigns.
What should the supporting video include?
- Max 3 minutes
- Hosted on YouTube (unlisted)
- Clear explanation of the campaign and its creative assets
- English voiceover or subtitles
What time period should my campaign cover?
Campaigns entered into a national or international competition from 2024 to present are eligible.
How will entries be judged?
Entries are judged on:
- Strategy (33.3%)
- Creative (33.3%)
- Results (33.3%)
Scores are combined, and judges meet to determine Gold, Silver, Bronze, or Nominee status. The top gold winner may be awarded the MIXX Grand Prix 2025.

When will winners be announced?
Winners will be announced at a virtual ceremony. The event will be live streamed for all participants across Europe.

Can I enter a campaign that has previously been entered into another awards competition?
Yes, we welcome campaigns that have been entered into other awards competitions.
How will my entry be evaluated?
The judges will give a score against each criteria (strategy, creative and results) for each entry as per the criteria outlined in the entry notes. These factors are then combined to create a total score for each entry. All judges' scores are totalled and the highest scoring entries will determine the shortlist. The judges will then meet to discuss the highest scoring entries and then agree on winners for each category. More detail is in the Entry Notes.

Until 2021, Sascha Dolling was Senior Ad Tech Sales Manager at Amazon Ads, where he was responsible for sales of Amazon's entire Ad Tech Suite for clients such as Procter & Gamble, L'Oréal and Nestlé. Before that, the media science graduate spent three years at OMD Hamburg as Managing Partner Data Driven Marketing, where he was responsible for the further development of the agency's strategic orientation in programmatic and data-driven advertising. In this role Sascha became Tyto’s “Most Influential German in the Technology Sector 2020” for being the driving force behind the development of an early cookie-less targeting solution.

Virginia has worked with iconic international brands and has developed strong business relationships with clients.

How much does it cost to enter the awards?
The early bird entry fee (enter by Friday 20th May) is €300 (excl. VAT) for entering a campaign in one category; €175 (excl. VAT) for entering the same campaign in additional categories.
The regular entry fee is (from 21st May to 7th June): €400 (excl. VAT) for entering a campaign in one category; €250 (excl. VAT) for entering the same campaign in additional categories.
Entrants from the smaller European markets can take advantage of the early bird entry fee throughout the competition. The definition of a ‘small market’ is a market with a total digital ad spend revenue of €0.6bn or less as per our AdEx Benchmark 2022 Report. The markets are: Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia.
Please note, as with last year, we are currently not accepting any entries from Russia or Belarus due to our suspension of all cooperation with IAB Russia and Belarus (see IAB Europe statement here).
