Hi Noel, congratulations for creating your website or blog site. You are a good writer and I always enjoy reading your articles/blogs.
Just one comment — you should not limit yourself to your batchmates, officemates, friends — reach out and focus to the whole WORLD … like how Mr. Bill Gates starts his tweet — “hi world” …
Good luck, take care and I miss you …
Cora

Hi, thanks so much for liking my post “Indian Lassi “ and for stopping by my blog at: https://lovelyseasonscomeandgo.wordpress.com. Please feel free to stop in again. Have a great day. Betty
It took me a while to figure it out but eventually the words Quiapo and Globo de Oro St came to me. I hope I haven’t gotten things mixed up so apologies if my memory had indeed enjoyed playing tricks with me.
Cheers
Jeff
hey Jeff, is that really you? how long has it been? tell me how to get in touch, friend!
I’ve been based in Singapore since 1989. Well, most of the time since I had in between stints in Thailand, England, Dubai, Sri Lanka and even in your backyard where I spent 9 months at TelstraClear not far from the WestPac Stadium.
PS. Amado Cobankiat was a classmate back in UST
wow! considering we were classmates i fourth or fifth grade, that was 40 years ago. 🙂 so much has happened to both of us since then.
Hi Noel,
I am a student of English Linguistics at the University of Regensburg in Germany. Currently I am writing my bachelor thesis in which I analyse the language used in blogs in Southeast Asia. My focus lies on blogs in which English is used alongside other languages and which are therefore mixing languages. This is why I am writing to you. As you are mixing languages in your blog. It would be nice if you could answer me a few questions about it. But I do not want to do that in your comment section, could we communicate via email or facebook if you are interest at all?
Of course Kira! 🙂 please find me on Facebook. Noel Bautista (in Wellington) flattered that I could help, and tickled pink that you found me here! 🙂
Hi I’ve just started reading your blog posts after arriving in NZ in July and the articles are very entertaining to read 🙂 If you’re interested in having a co-writer on board I’d love to be a contributor to your blog. Let me know via email what you think about this!
Of course Czarina! My only requirement is that your experiences need to be personal, as are mine. Thanks for the kind compliment!
Kamusta Po!
I’ve enjoyed reading through your blog. I’m a 2nd gen Filipina born and raised in Aotearoa and residing in wellington. I am a trained counsellor and have recently been bringing together a community of registered Filipino therapists (counsellors/clinical & health psychologists/mental health clinicians/mental health researchers) , many of us are passionate about destigmatising mental health for our fellow kabayan. So far there are 15 of us in total and a few still in training. I wondered if this is a topic that you would like to blog about? We have hopes to create an online directory where Filipino sa NZ can find culturally responsive therapists and also information about pathways to working in this sector.
I would like to write about that kabayan if you would be kind enough to give me a backgrounder on the pinoy communitys’ mental health profile here. Thank you for your kind words Marivic!
