Yingchen Yu
I am currently a Research Scientist @ TikTok/ByteDance, Singapore. Prior to this, I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), supervised by Prof. Shijian Lu . I was under the Indistrial Post-Graduate Program (IPP) , which is a joint program between Alibaba and NTU supported by Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB).
Before that, I obtained my B.E. degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering at NTU, and my M.S. degree in Computer Science at National University of Singapore (NUS).
My research interests include computer vision and machine learning, specifically for image synthesis.
