| I am a Professor of Practice at Northeastern University, teaching and conducting research in AI/ML/NLP and Information Visualization. Prior to this, I served as a Senior Manager of Applied Science at Amazon (2023-2024), where I led a team of scientists tackling complex problems in Amazon Search Advertising using AI, ML, NLP, and data science. Before my tenure at Amazon, I was a Senior Director of Research at Yahoo! Research (2014-2023). There, I oversaw a group of research scientists and engineers, developing and implementing AI, ML, NLP, data visualization, and security algorithms. Earlier in my career, I conducted research and developed software at AT&T Labs, Wolfram Research and Daresbury Laboratory. I am an associate editor for the IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics. |
