About Me
I am a Professor in the College of Computer Science & the State Key Laboratory of CAD&CG at Zhejiang University. Before joining ZJU in 2017, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the GRASP Laboratory at University of Pennsylvania. My research interest lies in the field of 3D Computer Vision, particularly including 3D reconstruction, pose estimation, motion capture, and scene understanding, as well as their applications in mixed reality and robotics. Research Projects
2D Feature Matching
We develop new image feature matching methods that get rid of the feature detection stage in traditional pipelines (e.g., SIFT), resolving the feature repeatability issue and improving the matching robustness.
3D Pose Estimation
3D Reconstruction
We develop a series of neural scene representation and reconstruction methods for reconstructing 3D scenes from 2D images, addressing the challenges of efficiency, scalability, low texture and dynamic appearances.
4D Reconstruction
We develop a series of neural scene representation and reconstruction methods for capturing dynamic humans from 2D videos. We also develop new representations for building drivable human avatars.
