Working Classroom is a multiracial, multigenerational community of creatives.
Somos bilingües and are here for everyone’s home language and intersecting identities. We are a nonviolent space centering folks most impacted by systems of oppression to feel free to be ourselves. Our arts and cultural practice help us create a liberated future for us all.
Our Mission
Working Classroom cultivates the artistic, civic, and academic minds of youth through in-depth arts projects with contemporary artists to amplify historically ignored voices, resist systemic injustices, and imagine a more equitable society.
Working Classroom does this by creating opportunities for intergenerational arts and cultural learning, youth centered arts and cultural leadership, and art-based community-led action.
