“Architecture in tropical climates is always associated with rain, sunlight and wind. Inhabitants in a tropical area tend to be open with the idea of bringing nature into their accommodation. Tropical Space has tried to create the living capacity where humans staying inside could share the environmental responsibility, along with the surrounding community. Tropical Space has also delivered the inspiration of brickwork architecture through friendly, flexible and adaptive design solutions in order to create values of architectural aesthetics and inspiring stories about local sustainability only by using that simple material.”   

Over more than a decade of building and developing our architectural firm, we have consistently strived to go beyond architecture practice independently; instead, we aim to broaden its world and use it as a means to connect people and develop a strong local practical/educational/research community with other designers. With that belief, Tropical Space has, over the past three years, initiated and organized a variety of community activities dedicated to strengthening ties between those passionate about the field. These initiatives—ranging from discussions, exhibitions, and creative workshops to open networking events, each program has been designed to share knowledge, experiences, inspire creativity, and ignite passion within the community. Although our contributions may still be modest, we take pride in the fact that they have and continue to play a role in building a strong architectural community where everyone feels connected and empowered to grow.
