Triple E Framework
A framework for educators to measure how well technology tools integrated into lessons are helping students engage in, enhance and extend learning goals. Learning First, Technology Second #tripleE
|
This website provides open source resources for educators to learn about and utilize the Triple E Framework in their teaching. In addition to the website, Dr. Kolb has written two books about the Triple E Framework. Schools can use these as book clubs for teachers and administrators to better understand not only the framework, but the evidence to support how to best use technology in learning.
• Provides an overview of the popular and highly regarded Triple E Framework. • Provides a compelling lens through which to understand and apply the research and strategies tied to the framework using a myth vs. reality format. • Features a suggested step-by-step process for instructional designers and tech coaches to use the framework with classroom teachers for better lesson design. • Discusses how two schools have systematically integrated the Triple E Framework across their district. •Ties effective teaching strategies directly to the ISTE Standards for Students and the ISTE Standards for Educators. Both of these books will provide a detailed overview of the Triple E Framework, as well as new research, scenarios, cases and ideas for using technology in education. For readers new to the framework, both books will provide all of the essential research and tools mentioned above, along with an overview of the framework, so they can apply what they learn without missing a beat.
