You've reached the home of The Frugal Gamer. This is a personal site where I showcase things I’ve made and stuff I think about, as well as some of the games I play. I've been hanging around on the internet since about the late 1990s, and I've tried all the trends that have come through. Social media seems to be the "thing" these days, but I feel like it leaves me feeling fragmented and empty after a while. I began to miss having a space that I really control, and isn't sold to others for advertising purposes. So, I decided to dip into being a website owner again.

Revamped by Pixel Cliques page so that it looks and flows much nicer, plus I've added a spot for Armxnd's Chao Clique
I've uploaded just a few of the CC stuff I made myself for the Sims 1. Just some walls and one object for now, but I may add more in the future as I've been re-visiting the game lately.
Added a couple of games that I finished last month to my Games Page, added a new file to my Archiving page, and fixed a few errors here and there.
I've added two brand new pixel fonts to the Resources page, Smidge and Sticky Fingers
I've put up a new page with a miniature tutorial, along with a small layout adjustment that I'll roll out to the rest of the site eventually. There's currently only one tutorial up, but I've got ideas for a lot more, so they will be coming soon!
I have a new little programming project I've been working on, and I've set up a personal image board for silly meme pics and stuff. I has comment and upvote capabilities, just for fun. I'll be forking the code and setting up its own repository on Github once I clean stuff up in case anyone else wants to use it.
I've also switched my music scrobbler to pull from ListenBrainz instead of Last.fm, though I'm still linking to both. But personally I've been using ListenBrainz more, and the code ended up being shorter.
Added a new page today to display some of the things around the web I've archived.
If you follow me on the fediverse, you'll see I've been making mixtapes. I posted some artwork I made for mine under the stickers section for others to use too, if you want. I also cleaned up that section in particular, because it was getting unwieldy
There is now a new page for showing off pages I've finished in my various coloring books. There are only a few for now, but this will grow over time. There are also some new 32x32 icons on my Pixel Art page.
I've added a new section under "Learning" to the Free Stuff Directory. There's now a section dedicated to high quality programming resources that I've used successfully. Just a few links for now, but it will grow in the future
There's a new poll up, and I've added a new section on my cat's page for linking to other pet pages! If you know of any, feel free to send them my way and I'll add a link. Other than that, the main website has been quiet because I've mainly been posting to my blog. If you don't follow that RSS feed, check out the blog for new posts.
After a long time of not touching it, I've added some more art to my traditional art page, this time done with ink and markers. I've also been updating the Manicure of the Week page, so go check that out if you're into that stuff!
There's a new page on the site called "Manicure of the week." It's a place for me to show off the nail art that I do each week, and it's already got a couple of entries.
I've rearranged the menu so that things are (hopefully) a bit easier to find. I also noticed that the Public Domain Image database was broken after an update from my webhost, and I've gone through and fixed it, as well as added a few more items. There's also a new blog post with a game review of Mall Tycoon 2
Among other small updates here and there, I've added some fun little icons that I've been making with the Pico-8 palette. I've also added a new little platformer that I made to the main games page.
I've been making a number of accessibility changes around the site, so you may notice some differences here and there. Most notably, I'm slowly changing all of the animated GIFs to toggle-only, and I've switched fonts for the website to one that is clearer and more easily read. I've also added some extra navigation links for text-only browsers and browsers that don't support CSS.
I've added a page dedicated to all of the electronic pets I own, with descriptions about each.
There is a new page dedicated to fantasy desktops in video games! It's a little project I've been working on for a little while, and I think I will add to it as time goes on.
I've got a new page up for printable stuff, mainly for collages and scrapbooking, but there's also a special papercraft project for Sims fans! I've also cleaned up my RSS feed, sorry for the terribleness before. It should be without errors now.
I've been adding things to my Ascii Painter app after a long hiatus. It now has support for: UI themes, customized and pre-made; more brushes to chose from; import & export function for brushes; selectable color history.
