SwissText 2025
Welcome to the Swiss Text Analytics Conference (SwissText), the annual Swiss conference that brings together experts from industry and academia in the areas of text analytics, natural language processing (NLP) and computational linguistics.
SwissText 2026
This year marks the 11th edition of SwissText, which was initiated in 2016 by NLP researchers at Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW).
Organizers of SwissText
The SwissText conference is organized by SwissNLP, the Swiss Association for Natural Language Processing
SwissNLP aims to promote Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computational Linguistics and Text Analytics in Switzerland. It brings together experts, solution providers and customers from industry and academia and organizes events and projects for NLP in Switzerland. We also distribute datasets that have been created as part of our projects.
SwissText was initiated in 2016 by Mark Cieliebak, Professor for Natural Language Processing at Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). From 2016 to 2019, it was hosted at ZHAW in Winterthur. In 2020, it was supposed to take place in Zurich, but due to Corona, we had to switch to an online setting. In 2021, it was again online, and since then it “moved” through Switzerland, from Lugano (2022) to Neuchâtel (2023) to Chur (2024), Winterthur (2025). In 2026, the 11th edition of SwissText will be hosted in Zurich.
