About SaskBooks
Provincial creative industry association for book publishers in Saskatchewan.
Dedicated to fostering and supporting a thriving book publishing industry in Saskatchewan, SaskBooks supports Saskatchewan book publishers and book publishing, advocates for the book publishing industry, elevates the marketing and sales potential of the Saskatchewan book publishing industry, and helps people fall in love with Saskatchewan-published books.
As the province’s trade association supporting book publishers, we don’t publish books. Our member-based, not-for-profit organization works with small and independent Saskatchewan publishers. We offer industry-specific programs and sector development research, professional development, book promotion, and collaborative marketing projects. SaskBooks provides a single voice for the publishing sector. We work toward a sustainable, thriving book industry.

Read Saskatchewan
This annual catalogue features new and recently released books published in Saskatchewan.
The books featured in Read Saskatchewan were produced and published by Saskatchewan businesses. Your local independent bookseller will have many of these books in their “local” sections, because they know you want to read local and support small and independent prairie businesses. If you would like a free copy of the catalogue, please contact us at [email protected] and we’ll send you one, or we can add you to our direct mail list to receive the catalogue every year right in your mailbox! For all the digital folks out there, feel free to download a copy for all your catalogue perusing needs! This year’s cover image is a photograph of Borderlands Lookout at Grasslands National Park by SaskBooks member publishers Parkland Publishing – Robin and Arlene Karpan.
This service and others provided by SaskBooks to the publishing industry are supported by the Government of Canada through the Canada Book Fund, by the Canada Council for the Arts, and by the Province of Saskatchewan through Creative Saskatchewan. Read on!
