Re:Sound is the Canadian not-for-profit music licensing company dedicated to obtaining fair compensation for artists and record companies for their performance rights.

All businesses are legally required to pay a licensing fee when broadcasting music or playing recorded music in public. Re:Sound is mandated by the Copyright Board of Canada, to provide music users with the licence(s) they need.
More About Music UsersMusic Creators
If you’ve performed on, or made, recorded music that has been released to the public, you may be entitled to royalties.
Royalties are fees that music users such as radio stations, music streaming services and businesses that use recorded music must legally pay in order to publicly use your sound recordings.
