• Website Planning & Development:
  • Writing "Discovery" documents for clients, where I research, assess and estimate upgrades/replacements for their websites
  • Development of information architecture (IA) and wireframes
  • Managing direction of UI designs from graphic designers to ensure technical feasibility
  • Leading & managing Wordpress theme development, including styling, custom functionality and plug-ins. Managing contracted web developers to assist with advanced functionality, and ensuring quality control during that process.

• Website Maintenance:
  • Security, SEO and speed performance updates for websites (mostly WordPress)
  • Resolving DNS and web hosting issues for clients

• Web Accessibility:
  • Converting reports for federal government clients from print formats (Word and Indesign) to accessible, WCAG 2.0, Level AA reports that adhere to the Web Standards for the Government of Canada. Extensive use of WET (Web Experience Toolkit) templates.
  • Upgrading WordPress websites to meet WCAG AA accessibility requirements

• Print Production:
  • Some production of print collateral in Indesign, including annual reports and other publications
