Welcome to CARG!
The mission of the Cancer and Aging Research Group is to join geriatric oncology researchers across the nation in a collaborative effort of designing and implementing clinical trials to improve the care of older adults with cancer. The only requirement for membership is the desire to help older adults with cancer.

Practical Geriatric Assessment (PGA) Statement: The CARinG Clinical Implementation Core strongly recommends the integration of the Geriatric Assessment as a fundamental part of cancer care for older adults. We endorse the PGA specifically as an important, evidence-based approach to assessing the unique needs and vulnerabilities of older adults, thereby favorably impacting their cancer outcomes and quality of life.
