A gathering of tech (computers, laptops, tables, and phones) users, where “members help members” learn more.
Our club’s main meeting, which is held at 2:30 p.m. on the third Sunday of each month (unless the third Sunday is a major holiday such as Father’s Day in June), features speakers who are computer industry representatives and/or knowledgeable enthusiasts. The public is cordially invited.
In addition to the general meeting, special “Help Desks” meetings are held monthly to provide mutual assistance in resolving software/hardware problems and to discuss new developments. Members frequently help each other on an informal basis.
Our membership ranges from novices to experienced computer experts. Novices are especially encouraged to join our group.
ECOTUC has two important ongoing projects: Computer Refurbishing, and Computer Recycling Events. These volunteer activities are always looking for more members to help out. See the Projects page for details and contacts.
The East-Central Ohio Technology Users Club is a member of APCUG, an international association of technology and computer user groups. Information about them can be found at their official website.
