Triggered my PTSD a little bit but it was just a brutally honest depiction of life in a war zone and the long-lasting effects of that. Really shines a light on how women in the service are forgotten or even hidden. Really good writing and so many emotions. Great book for a book club. -Mykle

I love this sort of take on super powers. It shows the consequences of what that kind of world would have. Meyer writes some really believable characters here and it's interesting to see them grow and learn. -Mykle

Kind of a slow burn but there were really good characters introduced and some occasional action before the grand finale. It has good world building and interesting characters. There's no poorly crammed in romance either which gives it a lot of points. The whole thing really drew me in and I'm almost done with the second in the series already. -Mykle

I've read this book to anyone who would listen. I've shared it with staff and students and the verdict is in- it's hilarious, impeccably illustrated, and has just the right amount of cat shaming, guilt, and justice.
