Welcome to HymnSite.com. With the all of the "dot com" names going around,
you may have wondered what "com" stands for. I'm not the official or definitive
resource, but it seems fitting that it should stand for "Christian Online
Music." Anyway, that is what it will stand for as long as you are visiting
this site!

The site provides access to free, searchable collections from <i>The United Methodist Hymnal</i> ("UMH") and
<i>The Faith We Sing</i> supplement to the UMH, and work is under way to add materials from <i>The
Baptist Hymnal</i> and <i>The Hymnal for Worship and Celebration</i>. Our resources include lyrics and
midi files for favorites such as <i>Jesus, Keep Me Near the Cross</i>, <i>Rock of Ages</i>, <i>Holy, Holy, Holy</i>,
and hundreds of other favorites.<p>
We hope and pray that these resources will be a blessing to you, and especially that they may help
you bear great fruit for the kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ.
