I do not need man made weapons
For I Have the earth below my feet
That sustains me
feeds me
and replenishes All I am

I Do not need man made weapons
For I have the water that flows in me
The water that falls upon me
and cleanses all I see
And the salted water that clears
All that I am
Salting the earth each time we forget
Salt clears the way for the heart to grow

I do not need man made weapons
For I Have the fire that burns inside of me
The same fire that burns inside the earth's core
The earth's hearth that created all that ,
we know
Combining all the elements for life on this beautiful planet to flourish
The same fire that burns in the sky
Gives us vitamins and helps us all grow
Every being in this sun filled earth

I do not need man made weapons
For I have the wind that blows upon me
That brings thought through my crown
to be alchemized into ideas
That I can put into action
on this ground
I have the wind
That rises when I speak
And rises , even more when I am silent
And I let my e motions flow

I have The storms that these here elements create
And the winds that carry them everywhere , I go
Creator made no mistake with me
Creator granted me the option to create , like thee

To have free will and create what I wish to see
To use the power of creation for paradise or hell
To walk with creator living within me to show themselves
upon this earth

Choosing healing over violence
Over Man made weapons
You see
Though I understand we must defend ourselves
There Are other ways for us to defend the purity of our souls

The warriors made to carry
The weapons and the wisdom of when to use them
For Warriors know each life lost
Is a world we are destroying with in us

The healers meant to support them
And all who carry these wounds
To hold space in places
No one else would
Each healer destined
To hold a piece of this ever changing grid so that others can flourish
And find there own medicine

The mother's meant to care for the children's left at home
Supported by the father's
That hold the soil and our future

I do not need man made weapons
Four winds carry me
I am walking medicine everywhere I go
You see.

About this poem

In the midst of what is happening , I remind you we have options. Community is the unity that is required for our future. We can stand and rise together. Are we can fall upon the storm. Of those who separate us and destroy all that we know.

An urgent appeal. This haunting poem is composed as a very personal “I-poem,” pleading for humanity, alchemically in its social, psychological and spiritual illnesses of independent selfishness to be healed and to become collectively a unified civilized non war mongering “We-people.”
