He asked that we use our passion and our voices to preserve the beauty and opportunities we have been given, and as an organization we will continue to respect his legacy. He will be greatly missed, never forgotten, and honored through our ongoing commitment to preserving and protecting our planet now, and in the years to come.”

We stand at a critical moment in Earth’s history, a time when humanity must choose its future. As the world becomes increasingly interdependent and fragile, the future at once holds great peril and great promise. To move forward we must recognize that in the midst of a magnificent diversity of cultures and life forms we are one human family and one Earth community with a common destiny. We must join together to bring forth a sustainable global society founded on respect for nature, universal human rights, economic justice, and a culture of peace. Towards this end, it is imperative that we, the peoples of Earth, declare our responsibility to one another, to the greater community of life, and to future generations.
Kai Milla Morris – Global Ambassador for Fashion Sustainability
Global Green is honored to announce that longtime board member and dedicated green advocate Kai Milla Morris is expanding her role with the organization, accepting the Global Green Global Ambassadorship for Fashion Sustainability.
In this dedicated role, Morris will use her deep history within the luxury fashion and entertainment industries as a designer and partner to develop strategic alignments with brands around the world.
She will drive initiatives that assist and amplify fashion and beauty brands as they engage in best green practices across production, design and materials. In particular, she will work with brands to create collections and cause marketing campaigns that make a difference, recognizing that increasing sustainability in fashion is a critical component in protecting our planet. Her unique vision and influence will build a coalition of eco-aware brands that are powerful leaders of the industry, who collectively will light the way for a brighter future in fashion.
