Memories I
The
New York Frame & Picture Co. has
remnants of their ads all over Manhattan and Brooklyn. I should
devote a page just to those images. One can also be seen in an
image I took that is on Kevin Walsh's FORGOTTEN NY site. CLICK

I call these False Memories because there
are elements to these photos that are not true. I developed the
negative and printed this 35mm B&W image at the Brooklyn
College photo lab while completing my Masters in Education
in May 2003. With another negative of a bird I photographed at the
Jamaica Wildlife Sanctuary, I did the old fashioned mechanical
PHOTOSHOP and "flew it in."
