Anabel is a stage performance artist specialising in pulverising things with her very thick head. When war breaks out she finds herself in the thick of the action and finds a way to use her special talent to her advantage! This is an action war comic. Beware, there is some nudity, lots of action and violence, as you'd expect from the genre. The art is black and white and drawn is a nicely stylised form. There's even a cameo from the famous Octobriana!

The title of this comic is perfectly descriptive. It is very hard to work out what's happening in this fast paced, action filled battle between two desperate adversaries! People in an advanced virtual reality fantasy game world are playing for all they're worth, one on a mission to destroy and the other to survive at all costs. There's magic, weapon fighting, blood, thrills, desperation, planning and panic. The art is sheer virtuosity, it uses limited tone flat colours, but the application is painterly and the drawings are full of gorgeous characters, interesting angles, action and magic effects. Prepare to read carefully though to work out what's happening, this is a comic that “shows” and rarely tells.

This sort goes even deeper than any of those: Levels within levels within levels! And it's a totally finished story only 42 pages long so you can read the whole thing very quickly and take it all in. The art is simplified but well designed and nicely comical. The story is simple, but clever, funny and well constructed.

On the way to a new life with his wife and a baby about to be born, Henry finds himself cruelly sidetracked and lost in the psychological horror-town that is Silent Hill! What is going on? Why is he trapped there? Are these real monsters stalking the streets or manifestations of his own inner hell? The story is very much focussed on the issues he as with his own father, his grandfather, and his own imminent fatherhood… The horror is effective and striking. The art is bold, beautifully done and quite skilled.

Kenny wakes up as a wolf who can still speak and think like a human while his brother Will doesn't seem to have changed. They encounter a weird lizard lady who has the form of an iguana, she seems to offer helpful advice but unfortunately she's not THAT helpful… and to all intents and purposes Will and Kenny are stuck in this dream world of open green fields and talking animals till they can find a way out again.
The art appears to be all pen and ink and coloured pencils, so it has a very unique look in this world of digital art and that's something to appreciate.
