Drew Youngs stands at the pinnacle of his career as an eminent composer, arranger, producer, vocalist, guitarist, educational mentor in artist development, and studio engineer.
Embarking on his artistic journey in Palo Alto during the late ’70s, Drew initially performed as a singer and guitarist with Phil Mattson and the Fanfairs. Since then, he has collaborated with a constellation of renowned Bay Area artists, including the likes of Pete Escovito, Herbie Hancock, John Handy, Steve Miller, Terry Miller, Steve Smith, Michael Manring, and Bob Weir, among others. His musical prowess is further underscored by his stint as the lead vocalist and guitarist for Warner Bros. Recording Artists-signed band, the Tazmanian Devils.
With a distinguished career spanning over three decades, Drew’s extensive portfolio includes an array of film, commercial, and music projects, working with solo artists, bands, and organizations in public relations, marketing, and advertising.
Moreover, Drew’s musical talents have been immortalized in seven original albums spanning diverse genres: Acoustic Latin Jazz, Pop, Film, New Age, and Jazz Fusion. His profound influence and multifaceted expertise have cemented his standing as a world-class professional in the industry.
