Support
Dog Mountain is owned and operated by Friends of Dog Mountain, Inc. (FODM) a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Late in 2017, the Dog Mountain property and Stephen Huneck’s remaining art were conveyed to Friends of Dog Mountain by the family and estate of Gwen Huneck. FODM relies on your generous donations and philanthropic support to keep Dog Mountain a free, public space. Our mission is to honor Stephen’s art and vision and to preserve his incredible contribution to American art for future generations to enjoy and appreciate.

Friends of Dog Mountain welcomes individual and business challenge/matching gifts of $2,500 dollars or more.
With a challenge gift, everyone wins. Challenge gifts are paid if and when FODM raises sufficient additional matching funds from other sources. For instance, a donor may offer a challenge gift of $2,500 to FODM with the stipulation that it will be paid out as a one-to-one match. FODM then communicates this match opportunity to other supporters, offering to double the first $2,500 in donations. Once the challenge has been met, the original donor provides $2,500 in direct support while Dog Mountain ultimately receives $5000 in donations.
If you would like to consider a challenge gift, please email our Development Office or call 800-449-2580.
