Welcome to the website of the Stanford Computational Imaging Lab lead by Prof. Gordon Wetzstein.
Our Mission
We develop next-generation computational imaging, display, and neural rendering systems. These have a multitude of applications in the metaverse, computer graphics and vision, consumer electronics, microscopy, human-computer interaction, scientific imaging, health, and remote sensing. At the convergence of artificial intelligence, optics, applied vision science, and electronics, our diverse and interdisciplinary team at Stanford University comprises passionate students, postdocs, and enthusiasts who strive to transcend the boundaries of camera technology by making the invisible visible, of display technology by creating unprecedented user experiences, and of neural rendering systems by learning to represent and generate 3D scenes using state-of-the-art AI algorithms.
