Chenfeng Xu
I am an incoming tenure-track assistant professor at UT Austin CS Department. Currently, I am a senior AI Researcher in Together AI. I obtained my Ph.D degree at UC Berkeley in 2025, fortunately advised by Prof. Masayoshi Tomizuka (ME department) and Prof. Kurt Keutzer (EECS department). I got Qualcomm Innovation Fellowship 2024. I am recruiting PhD students starting from Fall 2026 at UT Austin!

My research interests lie at the intersection between Efficient Machine Learning and AI Systems. I aim to build data-and computational-efficient intelligent systems (running faster and learning faster with less data). My work applies broadly to physical embodiments, including mobile devices, robotics, and autonomous driving etc.
