CAMERA – The CAMERA Education K-12 Program, in partnership with the Jewish Virtual Library, hosted part three of its History of the Jewish People and the Land of Israel webinar series on December 10.  The webinar featured K-12 Program Education Analyst Ari Brown, who discussed the return of Jewish sovereignty to the Land of Israel, debates surrounding the partition of the British Mandate, and how Jews and Arabs reacted to those developments.

CAMERA – The K-12 Program released part two of its critique of Rethinking Schools’ latest magazine for teachers Don’t Stop Thinking About Gaza, focusing on its use of disinformation to stoke anger at Israel and promotion of teacher activism.

CAMERA – The CAMERA Education K-12 Program hosted a webinar on October 22 titled “The Origins of the Jewish People and the Land of Israel.” Attendees learned about ancient Israelite civilization and explored the various Jewish communities of the Middle Ages, their relationships with other civilizations, and their enduring connection to the Land of Israel.

Boston Globe – The MTA’s tax-exempt status exists to support its work on behalf of teachers’ working conditions, not to fund political campaigns or promote foreign policy positions, argues CAMERA’s Jany Finkielsztein.

CAMERA – The Zinn Education Project bills itself as a grassroots initiative promoting a more “inclusive” approach to history. However, CAMERA Education Institute’s scrutiny of sections of the curriculum exposes a pattern of radical indoctrination targeting K-12 students.
