I am a cult survivor and writer, sharing the story of how I was reeled into a New York City cult, what it was like, and how I finally broke free after more than three decades.

I hope my life and writings reveal how easy it is for any of us to fall prey to ideologies that promise easy answers – and why we must ask questions and always keep our critical thinking skills alive.

I also hope my life story shows that it’s never too late to leave a bad situation and start anew. No matter how far we go astray, we can find our way back to our true self and to a happy, fulfilling life that benefits others.
