Turn the Mode switch to D position.
Press the start button to turn on the gamepad.
Hold the Pair button for 3 seconds to enter its pairing mode, the Status LED will start to roll side to side. (This is required for the very first time only)
Go to your Apple device’s “Bluetooth Setting” and turn it on, pair with “8BitDo Pro 3”, the Status LED will remain solid to indicate a successful connection.
* System requirement: iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS 26, tvOS 26, and visionOS 26.
Turn the Mode switch to D position.
Connect the gamepad to your Apple device via a USB cable and wait till the gamepad is successfully recognized by the device.

Press the Home button to turn on the controller.

* Put the controller on D-Input mode before firmware update. Please update the firmware.

Press home button to turn on the controller.
Hold star button for 3 seconds to enter its pairing mode, LED starts to blink rapidly. (this is required for the very first time only)
Go to your Apple device’s Bluetooth setting and turn it on, pair with [8BitDo Ultimate wireless], LED becomes solid when connection is successful.

* Hold the profile button for 5 seconds to switch to the Bluetooth
