Sande Chen
A Grammy-nominated game writer and producer, Sande has been working in the game industry since 1998. Her past game credits include 1999 Independent Games Festival winner TERMINUS, SCOOBY DOO: THE MOVIE, and the 2006 AGS Award recipient THE BLACKWELL LEGACY. She is the co-author of Serious Games: Games That Educate, Train, and Inform and was an editor on the critically acclaimed book, Game Writing: Narrative Skills for Videogames. She holds degrees from MIT, The London School of Economics and USC School of Cinema-Television. She is a steering committee member of the IGDA Writers Special Interest Group as well as for Women in Games International.
Anne lays claim to five years’ experience in the popular media with four hours of produced television and two shipped games under her belt. As a writer for NBC serial DAYS OF OUR LIVES, Anne wrote each script within a week of assignment. She translated these skills as an in-house writer on STARGATE WORLDS. A citizen of the EU as well as the US, Anne boasts excellent reading comprehension of French. She holds a degree in Archaeology from Harvard.
