Verify the issue is Theme or Plugin related. As half the questions I get are “WordPress” related.

Though I’m happy to answer those questions, I’d appreciate it if you “Googled” the question or error message first. You can always activate another theme for a few seconds to verify the problem is related to Socrates. (Use Appearance > Customize > Active Theme to switch in preview mode)

People often think I have all the answers to WordPress problems, but in reality I just have really strong Google skills. Do you know about Google Search Operators (they will change your life)?

Is Socrates Compatible With [INSERT ANY NAME] Plugin?

There are 1000’s of plugins and it’s impossible to test all of them. So we handle this a very simple way.

We use clean core code that’s compatible with all major plugins. If we hear of a conflict with a plugin, we work to resolve it immediately or we’ll refund you. So the answer is YES or it will be compatible this week. It has been YEARS since a legitimate plugin conflict has happened, there’s no need to be concerned.

I made changes but they are not showing?

Are you using a caching plugin? It might be caching your changes. Try purging caches or disabling your optimization plugins when you’re designing your site. W3 Total Cache can really bork design changes.

Header Doesn’t Look Right?

Make sure you set the header image minimum height in Appearance > Customize > Layout and have “fit to container” set.

There are no annual fees, and as we improve the themes/plugins you get all the updates. If you're having issues we provide great support (usually within minutes) and most refunds are simple misunderstandings that are easily resolved.

Seriously, our refund rate is less than 1% for a reason. We're here to solve problems, not make a quick buck. Your problems help us make a better product.
