READY FOR CHRISTMAS?

Not even near Christmas time and we are already thinking of Christmas displays, Christmas carols, Christmas crafts and it’s making this time of the year more of a nightmare than a time to enjoy! Picking a “lovely traditional Christmas carol” for my year 4 students is taking more time than I want to admit plus, thinking of a cute (and EASY) craft to decorate the school and then, having them learn English… all at the same time… is mission impossible!!! But then again, how can you NOT do all this? So, you go into all the fuss for what seems ages of struggling and hard work to get your students caroling with a broken English, tearing their cute little crafts before their parents can even have a look at them and forgetting the little English they have learned the minute they step out of school… but you go home with a feeling of relief… you know: nobody got hurt… or killed!
