Optiver US LLC is a member of BOX, BATS, NASDAQ OMX, CFE and NYSE Liffe. We are a member and market maker on NASDAQ OMX PHLX, NYSE Arca Options, NYSE Amex Options, ISE , CBOE, C2, NYMEX, CME, CBOT and ICE.
Although the North American operations began in New York, Optiver US quickly moved to the derivatives trading center of the country – Chicago, Illinois. Here, Optiver US has established a strong team with limitless potential.
Today, our North American office employs more than 110 people. Growth and expansion have been robust, with new people and new market opportunities. Presence in the US, coupled with our other offices around the world, allows Optiver to trade in every major time zone in the world.
Trading on our own account as a proprietary firm, Optiver US is a participant and market-maker on major US derivatives exchanges covering stocks, futures, and options. Our arbitrage and trading strategies are developed entirely in-house. Though our trading is primarily screen-based, we maintain links to traditional floors via brokers in the wholesale trading market.
