OpenBeta is an un-conference for Internet professionals, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts. An un-conference is a participant-driven community event aimed at exposing ideas and creating opportunities by connecting smart, passionate and motivated people with different talents. OpenBeta will be held at the Oklahoma City Coworking Collaborative.

Technology Demonstrations
The evening will begin with networking over food and drinks during an open demonstration session where startups, community groups and businesses will have the opportunity to share with the community their ideas, vision, work in progress, and/or services.
Since high school, Bill has been collecting and managing money for various activities, clubs and organizations. In all of these groups, more time was spent collecting, tracking and managing money than almost anything else.
About a year after graduating, Bill was trying to collect money to rent a vacation ski house with friends and had to open a separate bank account just to hold the money. He had finally had enough. He decided to build WePay – the easiest way for groups to collect, manage, and spend money.
WePay is a Y-Combinator startup based in California, with 10 employees and over $9M in venture captial funding.
Diner Connection is here to revolutionize the way you communicate with your patrons by utilizing text messaging to notify customers of ready tables and daily specials. Diner Connection provides the restaurant with a easy to use, yet powerful system for wait list management, communication, marketing and data collection tools to help you fill tables, reduce walk-outs, and increase sales.
Many public schools in Oklahoma practice draconian filtering of Internet content which makes China look permissive in comparison. A social action campaign is needed to advocate for balanced content filtering in our schools which complies with the law, encourages accountability, and helps prepare our students to be responsible digital citizens.

Award Ceremony
The Awards Commitee will evaluate the presentations for OpenBeta Best-of-Show winners and hand out prizes. The winners will be given boothspace at the Innotech Conference on November 10th.
