.htaccess to preview templates in Coda not working…

deschamps Posted: 14 September 2010 04:41 PM   [ Ignore ]   Lab Assistant Total Posts:  118 Joined  06-05-2007 I allowed my templates to be save as files in the CP global preferences, activated “save template as file” for each template… now I can edit/create templates in Coda and my site shows the updates… to preview updates in Coda: I created a file named “.htaccess” with only this content inside: RewriteEngine On  RewriteRule ^(.*)\.php$ /index.php/$1 [L,R=301]  and put this file in folder: system>template_files>default_site>site.group I am not able to preview my pages in Coda… I have tried reading “htaccess” recommendations in the web, but not able to get it… am I missing something?  Signature  EE 2.10, b20100810 - no add-ons - templates as files / Forum3.10, b20100805 / MSM 2.x, b20100805 Profile

But your problem is that you don’t see the file in the template directory. If this is your problem then you need to enable “Show hidden files”. You can do this under “View” or by using the shortcut Cmd-Shift-B. Profile
