I recently bought a license. I’ve tried ExpressionEngine and think it’s clearly the best cms. But now that I’m building a site for a company, they have one.com web-hosting. I unfortunately can not install there. I have asked the admin on one and say they do not support “AllowOverride All” and then they say, so if there is no “fix” the system for this the system will not work.
I need help. Or should I be sad because I was stupid enough not to check it before I bought the license

zoolandr, the advice about changing hosts is something that while initially painful for the client, will turn out better in the long run. EngineHosting is what I’d call the gold standard for hosting EE based sites.
