We are experiencing major site issues. We are aware of the problem and are taking action.
UPDATE Oct 4th, 2010 12:30pm : Error rates are now declining and the site is recovering.
UPDATE Oct 4th, 2010 2:05pm: Issues have resurfaced. We are currently addressing the problem.
UPDATE Oct 4th, 2010 2:50pm: The site is now recovering.
Some features are intermittently not available on Twitter at this time.
- Ability to Follow a user
- Follow counts
- Sending DMs
Twitter is working to resolve this issue in full.
UPDATE Oct 4th, 2010 8:50am: These features have recovered.
We are investigating some technical issues with the display pane in the new Twitter web UI, and have disabled it temporarily. We expect it to be back shortly.
UPDATE 4:00pm PDT: Media display features have been enabled.
