The PA-RISC Linux development community is proud to be part of the
Debian 3.1
(sarge) release. This is the second stable Debian Release which
includes support for Hewlett Packard's PA-RISC processor.
Kudos to developers from The Debian Project, Hewlett Packard,
ESIEE, and of course, parisc-linux.org community.
Before downloading ISOs, first check the

INTRODUCTION TO LINUX ON PA-RISC
The PA-RISC project provides a native port of Linux to
the PA-RISC architecture. The port is merged into linux-2.6
mainstream kernel tree.
PA-RISC linux-2.4 is stable but not fully merged into the
mainline tree nor well maintained these days.
PA-RISC Linux Project History
tells how the project got started and the first steps. Use the
Contact Information
if the
FAQ
or
Mailing List
aren't helpful.
Want to volunteer your time? Not listed in the
Hall of Fame?!
Those folks brought you the 0.9x Releases and Debian 3.0 Release
(replaced by Debian 3.1, links above).
That includes boot loader, kernel, documentation, user space
programs, packaging, testing, debugging, and pulling everything
together into an ISO.
Finally, we are proud to say that this website is hosted on
a Debian HPPA powered machine.
