One thing I didn’t notice before (minor issue) - the status update on the toolbar automatically add an English period at the end of the sentence even if you don’t put any punctuation. This is problematic in all languages as (a) people may use other kind of punctuations (b) English period is not used for japanese and zw. HOWEVER this extra period doesn’t seem to display on the status update story on news feed or profile.

This is an issue with the FB API, which indiscriminately appends the period to the status field.
