The library includes bindings for both the C and C++ languages, and works on Linux, Mac OS X, and other POSIX-compliant operating systems, as well as Windows. IRC Services 5.1.21
Services for IRC Networks (or just Services for short) provides for definitive nickname and channel ownership, automatic channel mode setting, memo (short message) storage and retrieval, and greater IRC operator control over the network.
Changes: This release includes fixes for a few minor bugs found in 5.1.20. This is the final release of IRC Services; future releases will only be made if necessary to fix significant security issues.

Intel Software Development Emulator 2.94
The Intel Software Development Emulator is a functional emulator for new and upcoming instruction set extensions. The emulator is based on the Pin dynamic binary instrumentation system (and XED). It emulates the new instructions in the SSE4, AES, PCLMULQDQ, and Intel AVX instruction set extensions. This allows developers to gain familiarity with Intel's upcoming instruction set extensions.
Changes: Better support for recent Linux distributions, like Ubuntu 9.10. Better support for debugging with GDB on Linux. Better integration with GDB 7.0.50. Windows uses dbghelp.dll 6.11.1.404. Fixes for paths with spaces. Tool arguments are grouped more sensibly. The AVX/SSE transition checker emits previous block information. The alignment checker has been upgraded. There are more CPUID feature knobs for SSE technologies. There is a new chip-check feature to restrict instructions to specific chips; see "sde -thelp". There is a fast icounting feature and various numeric fixes.

Whyteboard 0.39.35
Whyteboard allows you to annotate PDF and PostScript documents and various image formats. You can draw with common tools such as a pen, rectangle, ellipse, text tool, etc. You can draw shapes, which can be moved, resized, recoloured, etc. Your drawing history is stored, allowing you to replay it. Tabbed painting is supported, with each sheet having its own unlimited undo and redo operations. There are live-updating thumbnails for each sheet. Sheets that are closed can also be undone, restoring their data. Note controls, similar to virtual, editable Post-It Notes. A draggable, live-updating resizable canvas that stretches to whatever size you want.
Changes: A crash with loading fonts saved on Windows into Linux that don't exist there on Linux (and vice-versa) has been fixed. Bitmap selection and pasting images were broken. Pasting the same image multiple times would create multiple copies of the image when saving; this release saves one file and refers all copies to that file. Weird toolbox behavior when changing between text/icons twice or more from the preferences has been fixed. There are a few translation improvements.

Siam Quantum 1.0.1
Siam Quantum (SQ) is a quantum chemistry program that calculates wave function and total energy of molecules. It currently supports restricted Hartree-Fock method using Gaussian-type basis functions. The source code is well documented because it was initially designed for academic purposes so that students can easily understand. However, Siam Quantum can also produce high quality results for research purposes because the energies calculated are comparable to the ones produced by other software packages such as Gaussian or GAMESS, with the errors in the order of 10^-6 Hartrees, which can be further reduced with more strict cut-off.
Changes: A minor bugfix regarding reading XYZ file format and adding support for plotting molecular orbitals in CUBE file format.

etm provides a format for using simple text files to store event and task information, a command line interface for viewing tasks and events in a variety of convenient ways, and a wx(Python)-based GUI for creating and modifying events and tasks as well as viewing them. Alarms are supported for events, as well as repetition for both events and tasks in a powerful and flexible manner.
Changes: This release adds a command to copy an item to the system clipboard. It adds the ability to specify a list of templates in etmrc that can be inserted when creating or modifying entries. It will limit display to an error message if exporting to ical fails, and otherwise append confirmation of the successful export to the display. It adds the ability to specify a directory on the command line for testing purposes to use in lieu of the value of etmdata given in etmrc. It corrects several pychecker warnings.

IMAPFilter is a mail filtering utility. It connects to remote mail servers using the Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP), sends searching queries to the server, and processes mailboxes based on the results.

Forban 0.0.2
Forban is a P2P file sharing application for link-local and local area networks. Forban works independently from the Internet and uses only the local area capabilities to announce, discover, search, or share files. Forban relies on HTTP and is opportunistic, meaning that it replicates any files of interest seen in its proximity. The Forban protocols are minimalistic to ease the production of other implementations.
Changes: The IPv6 link-local source has been updated to allow the support of IPv6 link-local with interface source name. This can be useful when multiple interfaces on a single machine share multiple link-local addresses. A loot index view was added to ease the browsing of discovered Forban services for human interaction. The index library can now search a non-local index.

FxMovieManager is a file manager which can display thumbnails of movie files. It can also manage a playlist of movies and act as a simple front-end to MPlayer.

Asymptote is a powerful descriptive 2D and 3D vector graphics language for technical drawing, inspired by MetaPost but with an improved C++-like syntax. It provides for figures the same high-quality level of typesetting that LaTeX does for scientific text. Asymptote is a programming language as opposed to just a graphics program. It can exploit the best features of script (command-driven) and graphical user interface (GUI) methods. High-level graphics commands are implemented in the language itself, allowing them to be easily tailored to specific applications.
Changes: The 3D perspective sizing routines were improved. The offset in transformed 3D labels with render=0 and 3D planar arrowhead gaps were fixed. Pen width envelope contributions were fixed. The contour algorithm was improved. Default font problems were fixed. The size of pngalpha images was fixed. The -alpha Off default convert option was removed in favor of convertOptions="-alpha Off". Inlinetex support for xelatex was updated. Transformations are now respected by latticeshade. The Bessel functions were renamed to Jn and Yn. The expression % expands to the last interactive result.

Changes: This is the first alpha release. The main new features are: new import and export modules, change tracking, synchronization of structure and data between servers, and replication support.

get_iplayer 2.53
get_iplayer allows a user to stream or make recordings of any BBC iPlayer TV (H.264/Quicktime), BBC iPlayer Radio (MP3/AAC/RealAudio), or BBC Podcasts (MP3/AAC). It downloads iPlayer subtitles, metadata, and thumbnails. It has full PVR functionality for automatic searching, queuing, and stream recording. Its plug-in architecture allows third-party channels to be added. Live and embedded iPlayer TV and Radio recording and streaming is also supported. The optional Web PVR Manager allows full PVR searching, recording, and playback support of available and recorded material.
Changes: Automatic detection is done of whether a URL is https:// or <type>:https:// in a search term, and is then set as if it were a --url option. A change from 2.21 was reverted, and system-wide options are read additionally from /etc/get_iplayer/, as /var/lib/get_iplayer/ violates the FHS and Debian policy. Extended metadata is gotten if --fileprefix is used. Extended, alternate, and duplicate programme versions that have no version name set in the meta-data are allowed. Some deprecated options were removed. The --ignorechannels option was added, which causes matching channels not to be indexed when refreshed. Embedded MP3 flashaudio programmes that do not have the encoding attribute set are parsed.

Ganeti is virtual server management software built on top of Xen, KVM, and other open source software. It has been designed to facilitate cluster management of virtual servers and to provide fast and simple recovery after physical failures using commodity hardware.
Changes: Small improvements were made in the balancing algorithm metrics, which help with evacuation of instances from offline nodes in small clusters. The priority for fixing cluster problems versus balancing the cluster was increased. The LUXI and RAPI backends were changed to treat drained nodes as offline, and some more problems in the LUXI backend were fixed.

The Gnome Chemistry Utils includes the following programs: a 2D chemical editor (GChemPaint), a chemical calculator (computes raw formule, molar weight, mass composition, and isotopic pattern), a 3D molecule viewer using OpenGL to display molecular models, a crystal structure viewer and editor, a spectrum viewer, and a periodic table of the elements.
Changes: This is a maintenance release. GChemPaint no longer crashes after searching for cycles for a molecule containing fragments, and it correctly saves and loads the position of attached hydrogen atoms. The interpretation of strings such as Mn and Rn in GChemCalc was fixed. libgcu no longer accesses a NULL document when destroying an object.

Changes: This version solves a somehow persistent bug in which encoder qualities were not read out from the configuration file. Furthermore, the configuration file should not be overwritten during installation.

Hspell 1.1
Hspell is a Hebrew linguistic project. It features a Hebrew spell-checker, and aims to use the databases and algorithms developed as a morphology engine (for example, for search engines), and in the future for advanced things like Hebrew speech synthesis.
Changes: This release continues to enlarge Hspell's vocabulary (by 900 more base words), and improves its accuracy. For the first time, it also includes a detailed document about Hspell's spelling standard.
