Priority Maintenance - a MySQL Cluster in DFW - Jan. 1st, 2 a.m. - 4 a.m. CST

On January1st, Rackspace Cloud system administrators will be performing priority maintenance on MySQL cluster mysql50-11.wc1.dfw1.stabletransit.com from 2:00 a.m. - 4:00 a.m. CST.

During the maintenance window all SQL queries utilizing this cluster will be in a read locked state (INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, ALTER queries will be ignored) for the duration of the maintenance. There may be a period of up to 10 minutes in which databases will be unavailable.

We expect this maintenance to last no longer than the time listed. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we need to complete this work in a timely manner. Please note that no other technologies will be effected by this maintenance.

UPDATE: This maintenance has been completed.

On January 2nd, Rackspace Cloud system administrators will be performing priority maintenance on MySQL cluster mysql50-53.wc1.dfw1.stabletransit.com from 3:00 a.m. - 4:00 a.m. CST.

During the maintenance window all SQL queries utilizing these clusters will be in a read locked state (INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, ALTER queries will be ignored) for the duration of the maintenance. There may be a period of up to 10 minutes in which databases will be unavailable.

On December 31st, Rackspace Cloud system administrators will be performing priority maintenance on MySQL clusters mysql50-35.wc1.sat1.stabletransit.com and mysql50-41.wc1.dfw1.stabletransit.com from 2:00 a.m. - 4:00 a.m. CST.

UPDATE 2:00 am CST: Maintenance has started.

UPDATE 2:42 am CST: Maintenance has now completed.

During the maintenance window all SQL queries utilizing these clusters will be in a read locked state (INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, ALTER queries will be ignored) for the duration of the maintenance. There may be a period of up to 10 minutes in which databases will be unavailable.

Control Panel & API Access - Online

The Rackspace Cloud control panel is currently inaccessible and Cloud Files / Cloud Servers API access may be limited. Our development team is aware of the issue and they are working to quickly restore service.

UPDATE: As of 9:00 PM CST, The Rackspace Cloud development team is still in the process of correcting the issue with our control panel. As previously mentioned, Cloud Files and Cloud Servers API access is also affected.

UPDATE: As of 9:35 PM CST, we have corrected the issue affecting control panel and API access. Users should now be able to log in to the Rackspace Cloud control panel as well as connect via the Cloud Files or Cloud Servers APIs.
