Yahoo! Mail Web Services
With the Yahoo! Mail Web Service APIs, you can build applications to perform tasks such as listing messages, displaying folders, and composing and sending messages.
Please note that the APIs available in the Yahoo! Mail Web Service provide varying levels of functionality for free and premium Yahoo! Mail accounts. See the Yahoo! Mail account types page or the Yahoo! Mail Web Service documentation for details.
Coming soon: Building Applications for Yahoo! Mail.
Using the the Yahoo! Application Platform API for Yahoo! Mail, developers can build Yahoo! Mail applications that users can select and run from their mail accounts. Because many of the 260 million Yahoo! Mail users begin their online experience from mail, developers can leverage this huge Yahoo! Mail user base and gain greater exposure.
For more information about Yahoo! Mail Applications, go to Developing Applications for Yahoo! Mail. For the latest news, see the YDN blog about Yahoo! Mail.
