Unable to accept follower requests on protected accounts

My protected account received follow requests from @alicam and @DrJennifer which I accepted, but they were not added to my followers list. My user name is @GoldenSilence99.

I cant accept my follower!i have private count and when i try to accept it,it shows up that something´s wrong.I tried to accept @GinTonica request!

Here's another I tried to accept. It said it went through, but then showed up as a request again: @calblack

And another one who's been showing up as a request daily, though I've accepted the request a zillion times: @djsamhouse

I hope these issues are fixed soon!

My previous post was messed up. @calblack was someone who I tried to accept (it went through) but re-appeared as a request, and @djsamhouse appears daily as a request, though I've accepted it numerous times.

- My protected account received follow requests from @butterphli, but when I went to the "new requests list" her name did not appear as one of the requests.

Someone is showing up as me following them on my account page but I never chose to follow them. Also all the people that I am following are not appearing on my account page?

Not sure if this applies to this section, but I recently deleted my account and re-created it using the same username and email. I did this because too many spammers had added me, and I wasn't able to block the majority of them by the time I got around to it, because their accounts had already been suspended. I wanted to wipe the slate clean and start over with protected entries. I made sure to change the email address and username of my former account, prior to deleting it, as hint section had instructed me. It seems like all of my original followers are following either my new or old account, but which one it is, I can't be entirely sure. I've even spoken to my closer friends in person, who told me they readded my new account and accepted my requests, but it seems like the only way to get them back to following me is for them to request for me to follow them. Not really sure what the problem is.

My protected account received follow requests from @dcbiz and @ILoveQuizzes but when I accepted them, they were not added to my followers list. This has happened numerous times with @dcbiz. My user name is @lockleyc.

 I  recieved a email saying my protected account recieved a follow request from @cynicalbynature. I clicked on the twitter friend request link in the email. The page opened but it didn't show where I can accept @cynicalbynature. I tried to accept from my account but saw a message saying I had 0 follower requests. @cynicalbynature is not listed on my followers list.

My protected account received follow requests from @rbrtpttnsn, but when I accepted them, they were not added to my followers list. My user name is @NicoKouri.

My protected account just received a follower request and when i open the link it says somethings wrong.  I cant accept the follower at all. My user name is SNChick825

My protected account received a follow request from "@glorianatheband" and I approved it but they didn't show up as a follower. My username is @Rio1971. Thanks.

None of the people I am following are showing up after today.

My user name is @vin_ita

I'm not to my limit but I can't follow people back?

The same problem here. My account is private.I get request.I accept but it does not go through..meaning they don't show up on my following...I accepted gillions of ppl but it does not work. I agree with everyone on here... I got the same issue...

I'm experiencing the same problem. My protected account received follow request from @thefootballfan ,but when I accepted them, they were not added to my followers list. My user name is @carolfc   

- I (@oOoRabiesoOo) requested to follow my sister, @jegskaltisse but when she accepted my request, I was not able to view her of their updates. My updates are protected as well, but she receives mine just fine.

After receiving a direct message from @jonathanRKnight, i returned a direct message to @jonathanRKnight but it did not show up in my sent mesages and was was confirmed not received. Also my account received an email follow request from @jonathanRKnight but he has not been added to my followers list. My user name is @evanstent . thank you

My protected account received follow requests from @ohanne but when I accepted them, they were not added to my followers list. My user name is @chicachellers

The people I am following are not showing up in my follower's picture list on my profile. In fact, some people I am not even following are showing up on the list instead. My username is @julian_harris. Thanks!

after accepting the mail from  Garden_Twit as a follower, in my account  my followers don't update ..what could I do to resolve this?
