Ok, here my workaround:
I created a controller named webroot with a function called l which does a redirect back to my “main” class. That seems to work ok. It must ignore the /?/ part of the url
However, I am still curious about what the actual problem is and what I could do to correct it the proper way.

Some servers require the ?... its documented in the manual.
I’m going to move this thread out of the bug forum, just so that others may find it easier.
