Templating for JavaServer™ Faces Technology works with JavaServer™ Faces to make building pages and components easier. JSFTemplating Overview Slides! Open Document Format | PDF How do I use it? Obtain the files. Start creating pages (follow the Page Tutorial). What's required? A Java EE Application Server. GlassFish is recommended (provides JSF 1.2 environment out-of-the-box). The Java EE 5 SDK uses GlassFish and is production quality, free (for development AND deployment), tested and stable. Tomcat or other servers work without much extra effort. JavaServer™ Faces 1.1 or better. JavaServer™ Faces 1.2 is highly recommended. If you have GlassFish (or the Java EE 5 SDK), you already have JavaServer™ Faces 1.2 installed. How do I get involved? Join the #JSFTemplating IRC channel at irc.freenode.net. This is great resource if you have a quick question, or just want to know how to get started. It is also the best place to find the JSFTemplating developers and to get involved in helping JSFTemplating. Join the mailing lists (you must be logged in and have Observer Role to join).
