On 17th December 2007, the KDE Marketing Team made available details of the upcoming
KDE 4.0 Release Event.
Second Release Candidate of KDE
4.0 available.
On 11th December 2007, the KDE Community released the second release candidate
of the new major version, KDE 4.0. This release candidate marks the last
milestone on the road to KDE 4.0.
KDE 3.5.8 released.
On 16th October 2007, the KDE community released the eighth update for the stable version of
KDE. This release features numerous bugfixes all over KDE, especially in the HTML-viewing component
KHTML, in the kdegraphics package and for the KDE PIM components KMail and KOrganizer.
